Our Community Services encompass two main forms of extra support for two principal demographics:

Material support in the form of basic living necessities for those experiencing poverty and homeless/rooflessness. This work is carried out principally through our Drop-in Centre in Ħamrun, offering self-service laundry, bathing and cooking facilities, as well as access to lockers, internet and clothing/linen donations. It also serves as a vital point of contact to access our Psychotherapeutic & Counselling services.

Personal and professional growth opportunities for the youth of our islands in the form of a broad range of educational and leisure activities. This work is carried out from YEP! Centre Żabbar and YMCA Social Services Hubs in Valletta and Msida. At YEP! in Żabbar we focus on activities including the Y’EXPLORE Programme, the global YMCA initiative Ten Sing, yoga & mindfulness, sports, creative arts, leadership training, and the annual Christmas Concert Kunċert Tama (Hope Concert). We offer generic social and youth work at our Social Services Hubs.

Community ensures those who may need immediate material support are assisted. It empowers young people, offering them life-skills, as well as encouraging self-expression and personal development.
